Careers

Careers open roles and always-open resumes.

We hire when the right person shows up, not on a schedule. If you’re a licensed CPA or on the way there, and you’d rather work a book of business for years than rotate through fifty clients a quarter, we’d like to hear from you.

About Working Here

Ten people, one office, one book of business.

The turnover story we tell clients is the same story we tell candidates. People stay here because the work is coherent (tax and accounting for the same clients over years), the pace is human (busy season is real but bounded), and the pay is fair for South Florida rather than benchmarked to a Big Four in Manhattan you don’t live in.

The role is hands-on. You work directly with the client — not through a partner as an intermediary — and you carry a book of your own that grows as your tenure does. Partners are involved on every engagement; nothing is handed off to a specialist you’ve never met, and nothing is handed off from you to someone the client hasn’t met either.

The office is in Weston, one physical location, no hybrid maze of who’s in what day. That’s the trade — more real time with clients and colleagues, less flexibility on the office question. Most people who join us are looking for exactly that.

Open Roles

What we’re hiring for right now.

Tax Senior

Full time · Weston office

You carry a book of owner-operated businesses and their owners, and you keep it year over year — the same clients, the same names, so the planning conversation in October is informed by the return you signed in March. Seniors here review staff work and talk to clients directly; a partner is on every engagement, but not standing between you and the person paying the bill.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare and review Forms 1120-S, 1065, and 1040 for a recurring book of closely held businesses and their owners
  • Run planning through the year rather than at the deadline — reasonable-compensation analysis, quarterly estimates, entity-election math, and year-end timing
  • Research and document positions on Florida sales and use tax, multi-state nexus, and depreciation elections
  • Review staff work and give the kind of feedback that makes the next return easier instead of the same corrections twice
  • Own the client relationship on your engagements, including the calls nobody enjoys making

What we’re looking for

  • Florida CPA licence, or CPA-eligible with the exam substantially complete
  • Three to six years of public-accounting experience across a mixed tax book
  • Working fluency in a professional tax package and in QuickBooks Online
  • Able to explain a K-1 to someone who has never read one

Staff Accountant

Full time · Weston office

The entry into the firm, and the role most of our seniors started in. You will prepare returns and run monthly close for real clients from the first month rather than spending a year on tie-outs, and you will be in client calls early enough that the work has a face attached to it.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare individual and business returns for review, along with the supporting workpapers
  • Handle monthly close on a set of client accounts — bank and credit-card reconciliations, journal entries, and the financial statement package
  • Prepare Florida sales and use tax filings and payroll tax returns
  • Gather and organise client documentation ahead of deadlines rather than at them
  • Sit in on client calls from the start, and take the follow-up items that come out of them

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, with 150-hour eligibility or a clear path to it
  • Zero to three years of experience — public accounting preferred, a substantive internship counts
  • Facility with QuickBooks Online and with Excel past the basics
  • Enough curiosity to ask why a number moved, not just whether it ties

Client Accounting Specialist

Full time · Weston office

Runs the monthly books for a set of client companies end to end, so those owners get a clean statement package every month instead of a shoebox every April. This is a client accounting role, not a data-entry role — you will be the person who notices the margin moved and says so.

What you’ll do

  • Own the monthly close for an assigned set of client companies, from bank feeds through the financial statement package
  • Process payroll and file the associated federal and Florida returns
  • Prepare and file sales and use tax returns across the counties a client operates in, surtax included
  • Set up and clean up QuickBooks Online files, including chart-of-accounts restructuring after a bad conversion
  • Flag what looks wrong — a margin that moved, a vendor that doubled — before the client asks

What we’re looking for

  • Three or more years running full-cycle bookkeeping or client accounting, ideally across several entities at once
  • QuickBooks Online at the setup-and-repair level, not just data entry
  • Experience with a payroll platform and with Florida sales-tax filing
  • A CPA licence is not required; an EA or a QuickBooks certification is a plus
